The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Management in the David W. Wilson College of Business seeks applications for a one-year, annually renewable term appointment as Assistant Professor of Practice or Instruction, starting in August 2025. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in-person and hybrid/online courses. Teaching assignments may include courses on organizational behavior, leadership, human resource management, and other related topics at both undergraduate and graduate levels. The position involves teaching four sections per semester and contributing to substantial service responsibilities.
In-person, on-campus teaching and regular office hours are required. Depending on demand and expertise, teaching responsibilities will include online courses.

Education Requirements: Ph.D. or other terminal degree in Leadership, Organizational Behavior or a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited university required.
Required Qualifications: Record of excellence in teaching undergraduate and MBA courses, both in-person and online, with evidence of a student-focused approach; demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; and demonstrated effectiveness as a member of a collaborative team required.
Preferred Qualifications: Relevant work experience in a firm or as a consultant preferred.
