Assistant Director, Classic Upward Bound

Impact & Responsibilities: Assists in the selection and direction of Classic Upward Bound staff; consults with secondary school and community services personnel concerning program offerings; coordinates identification and selection of program participants; assists staff in the delivery of program services including counseling and advising; assists with the planning of program curriculum; plans the summer academic program; participates in the selection/placement of program staff for instructional and tutorial positions; assists with preparation of the Annual Performance Report (APR); assists with grant writing; assists with assessing, compiling and analyzing data related to reporting of academic outcomes; plans, proctors and implements program standardized testing; and provides related administrative support services as warranted.
 
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in teaching, counseling, youth & human services, higher education administration or related field; at least one year of program management experience.
Student experience will be considered.
 
Preferred: Master's degree, TRIO and/or direct related administrative experience.
