Job Description
We are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to help customers! This is a key position that will help ensure our customers have a great buying experience. As an Automotive Finance and Insurance Specialist at Bill Colwell Ford, your main responsibility is to introduce and sell the dealership’s financing options, insurance alternative such as vehicle service contracts, and a variety of other products that are beneficial to the customers’ ownership experience. You do not need to be an expert in cars to apply – we are looking for an expert of people. We are seeking individuals who are experienced in giving exceptional customer service, have the drive to earn an unlimited income, and have the desire to be the best in the industry. Duties & Responsibilities: •Establish a positive relationship with customers as they are presented products and services, resulting in repeat and referrals business •Present and sell financing for the vehicle, extended warranties, credit insurance, GAP insurance and other beneficial products offered by the dealership •Meet monthly forecast for finance and insurance income, penetration levels and customer satisfaction index (CSI) •Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors •Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase experience. •Take active role as part of dealer leadership team •Determine the customer’s need for financing and explore payment options. •Establish and maintain strong relations with our customers and lenders •Secure and finalize transactions in a legal and ethical manner while maintain a high level of productivity •Accurately prepare all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to the transaction and submits to the dealership’s Accounting Department in a timely manner •Oversee dealership customer loan origination and approval process Experience/Education: •Minimum of high school degree or equivalent •2 years of experience in a customer service position preferred •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
