Job Description
CBE Companies has internship openings on our Technical Services team. We are looking for candidates pursuing degrees/certifications in system administration, networking technologies or equivalent coursework with a passion for providing excellent customer service. REQUIRED SKILLS: - Must be at least 18 years of age - Current enrollment in degree program in the areas of System Administration, Network Administration, Computer Science, MIS, CIS or similar field - GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred - Strong technical troubleshooting skills - Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing - Must be eager to learn, inquisitive, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time - Excellent organizational and time-management skills REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: - Provide Tier 1 technology phone support for internal system users Triage/troubleshoot/escalate system issues - Perform hardware installs/moves - Responsible for asset management and tracking of desktop hardware and software inventory - Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing - Good project management skills - Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills - Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions - Strong knowledge in MS office package - Must be eager to learn, inquisitive, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - The Company reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position as appropriate - Must be able to perform the essential job duties of the position CBE is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
