Seasonal Laborers

The City of Cedar Falls is seeking seasonal Laborer candidates for 40 hr/wk positions not to exceed 6 months within its Public Works Department. 2023 minimum hourly rate effective 12-24-22: $15.25. Semi-skilled and unskilled labor positions including duties such as mowing, trimming, snow removal, and general mtc. of parks, cemeteries, and public properties. Duties may also include street, sewer mtc. and refuse collection. Applicants must have physical strength and endurance and knowledge of and ability to operate mtc. and construction hand and power tools. Position requires the completion of the 12th grade or equivalent, good driving record, valid IA driver’s license, and successful completion of a post-offer, pre-employment physical & drug screen.
