Engineering Manager
Looking to move UP in your career? Schumacher Elevator Company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of design professionals developing custom passenger and freight elevators. The successful candidate will have proven leadership abilities and the discipline to meet critical schedules and continuously improve processes.
What you need for this position:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ engineering experience, ideally in a management role
- PE Licensure a plus
- Proven leadership skills and strategic thinking
- Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor software
- Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- SAP system knowledge a plus
- Siemens Rulestream or similar ETO software experience a plus
- Providing leadership to a growing team of engineers and design professionals
- Creating, implementing, and leading all engineering objectives and initiatives
- Overseeing a robust project management process with ultimate responsibility for consistently meeting critical engineering schedules and deadlines
- Leading strategic efforts to optimize department procedures and resources
