Suzuki Instructor and School Coordinator-School of Music

Responsibilities: Conducts individual and/or group violin lessons; schedules and prepares classes; promotes Suzuki philosophy; keeps notes on each student and their individual lessons and records attendance; manages the daily activities and operations of the Suzuki School; develops and manages program budget; recruits and registers Suzuki School students; schedules performances; and serves as community and outreach liaison for program.
 
Qualifications: At least at bachelor's degree in music, music education, or violin performance plus at least one year of performance experience on violin; completion of Suzuki training through Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA) through book 4; demonstration of proficiency on violin through a recording or live audition; and at least one year of program administration experience required. Suzuki teaching experience in violin, including group and chamber music teaching experience preferred. Student experience will be considered.
