Please join us to view the award-winning documentary Women of the White Buffalo which highlights the systematic oppression that Native women face all over Indian country. There will be a panel centered around the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Relatives (#MMIR) crisis right after the screening with SunrRose IronShell, Oliviah Walker, Azra Papakee, Oliviah Walker, and Trisha Etringer. Light refreshments will be offered in the CME Lounge area at the end of the event. This event was collaborated by the students of Dr. Creighton-Smith's SW2045 American Racial and Minorities Populations class, UNI Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Justice, and Great Plains Action Society.
