The public is invited to join the Waterloo Community Foundation on Wednesday, July 2 at 11 AM for a Windows on Waterloo webinar presentation. Barb Prather, Executive Director of the Northeast Iowa Food Bank, will lead a timely conversation about how proposed changes to federal nutrition programs - specifically SNAP - outlined in the proposed federal budget reconciliation bill could affect local families and the organizations that support them. Attendees will also learn about how NEIFB is responding to growing demand through a new capacity campaign aimed at strengthening its services and reach across Northeast Iowa. Community members may join this free online presentation by visiting https://wloocommunityfoundation.org/learning-opportunities/ or by contacting the Foundation’s Program Manager, Paige Price, at paige.price@wloocommunityfoundation.org. Windows on Waterloo is a Zoom educational series offered by the Waterloo Community Foundation that brings the community together to learn about important issues affecting our city.
