During this 2 HR workshop you will learn how to transform your business into a commercial, profitable enterprise that works without you. Ready, Set, GROW! Whether you started your business 1 year ago or 45 years ago, chances are you were the subject matter expert, had a passion around your area of business or grew into a position of ownership you did not originally set out to have. That means you have something in common with most business owners in your community. Another commonality may be that you have learned through the school of hard knocks. You jumped in and embraced a journey of trial by fire to build your dream. How is the dream? If you are like many of the business owners I work with, it didn’t quite turn out the way you thought. You may be doing tasks you don’t enjoy, working long hours or even experiencing the cashflow crunch. Business ownership is hard and can be lonely. Most of the general population operate under a couple of myths of business ownership. Myth #1: If you own a business, you must be independently wealthy or at least not have money worries. Myth #2: If you own a business, you have all kinds of free time and empty space in your day. Myth #3: Business just shows up on your doorstep because you hung a shingle saying you are “Open”. Myth #4: Owning a business is easy and fun all the time. Myth #5: You can learn all you need to know about running a business in school or from daily experience.
