Provide information about recently proposed regulations and final regulations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor/Wage and Hour Division 2. Provide information about recently issued guidances, opinion letters, and initiatives of the U.S. Department of Labor/Wage and Hour Division. 3. Workshop regarding what to expect from DOL/WHD Investigations and how to handle them, which is also a guide for how to conduct your own internal wage and hour audit. 4. Workshop regarding classification of sample jobs as Exempt or Non-Exempt under the FLSA and how to evaluate and/or write job descriptions Per the SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge, HR professionals attending this workshop will develop Technical Competencies in HR Expertise under the Workplace knowledge domain, functional area #15, “U.S. Employment Law & Regulations,” in the Key Concept of Compensation.
